My love for sewing/designing began with a needle and thread making clothes for my dolls (I had the best dressed dolls), by the time I was in elementary school I was sewing on a sewing machine and making clothes for me, junior high and high school I was sewing for friends and classmates, cheerleader uniforms, prom dresses.
Now off to college, I studied design in Atlanta, while in college I sewed for teachers and classmates. I have a degree in Design and Business. I worked in apparel manufacturing for over 30 years, I have sewn for a famous singer and actress and several other VIPs.
I have helped many go from sketch on paper, to prototype, to product, to successful business.
I started Andrea’s Designs LLC, 33 years ago and have operated it as a full time business for 12 years.
I am so blessed I get to do what I LOVE for a living as a business. I can’t think of anything I would rather do than Sew!. xoxo
